When installing the metal plate inside your case, be sure to test if the hold is strong enough. If the case is too thick, then the plate needs to be placed on the outside.

No, the MagSafe function in iPhone models 12 and up is not strong enough to securely hold the phone in different road conditions.

The following solution is for wireless charging users: Install the plate to the very bottom of the phone, horizontally. Then it won’t interfere with the wireless charging receiver positioned in the middle of the phone.

The only con I have is the magnet that you put in your case wasn’t strong enough through the thin case. I glued it to the outside of the case it’s great!! I will have to figure something out when I change cases.
