When installing the metal plate inside your case, be sure to test if the hold is strong enough. If the case is too thick, then the plate needs to be placed on the outside.

No, the MagSafe function in iPhone models 12 and up is not strong enough to securely hold the phone in different road conditions.

The following solution is for wireless charging users: Install the plate to the very bottom of the phone, horizontally. Then it won’t interfere with the wireless charging receiver positioned in the middle of the phone.

The only thing different I would have liked is for it to be taller so I can angle it downward more. But it probably would have a weaker weight rating. Or you wouldn't be able to re use the sticky. And have to replace it each time you'd want to move it.
