I purchased the wireless mount 2.0 for my vehicle. Though there are notes that say this works with horizontal vents and not vertical, I have both in my car, so I thought I would try. It works GREAT with the horizontal vents & there is no way for it to work with a solid grip on the vertical vents (I tried many times/ways). Due to the location of my horizontal vents (being right next to the door) I am not sure I will keep this item as I don't necessarily want to mount it to the dash or windshield. I am putting this review up for anyone who thinks they might try to get this and make it work on a vertical vent, I can attest IT WILL NOT WORK. 2 other people in my family also have two different models of a Subaru, and they too cannot make it work in their vents.
Magsafe - this works seamlessly with my iphone 12 pro, with a magsafe compatible case on it. I tried it with a variety of cases, and unless you use the mount on the phone without a case, or a case specifically with the magsafe ring in it, it will not hold the phone with a solid attachment.
The product is amazing, IF you have horizontal vents &/or don't mind mounting on your dash or windshield AND you either have no case on your phone or have a magsafe case attached.
